IONIA. Phokaia. Circa 625/0-522 BC. Hekte (Subaeratus, 10 mm, 2.00 g), a contemporary plated imitation. Head of a seal to left, two flippers visible; behind, small seal. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Cf. Bodenstedt 2.2 (for prototype). Very rare. Breaks in plating and some scratches, otherwise, about very fine.
